So ... lots of new... well, since our last post. Christmas was wonderful. We were really blessed. We stayed in Provo and spend the holidays with friends and family. Christmas Eve and Day were spend at Lauren's parents. Jake experienced a new dinner tradition on the Eve. Raclette was the name, delicious was its game. Kinda a do yourself fondue type meal. Christmas morning was earlier than expected but wonderful. The gift exchanging and opening was a round robin one gift at a time thing. So everyone watched each person open a gift at a time. It is actually a fun and more meaningful experience. The following week breezed by quickly and then came the New Years Eve. We spent the evening with our friends in our ward at the Shumway household. It was great chatting and watching VH1's top 100 songs before ringing in the new year. We love our friends, specially the Shumways, wink wink!
